• Achieve cost effective production consistently.
• Effective shop management.
• Adhering to production plans given by planning.
• To plan mold changes in shift one by one in co-ordination with planning.
• Raw material calculation at start of shift after plan is fixed.
• Optimum utilization of resources (men, m/c, marls etc.)
• To ensure material is placed for preheating in time and in sufficient
quantity.
• To follow principle – ‘do right first time ‘, ensure good start up of mould
with quality approval.
• To do process monitoring.
• To ensure all reports filled
• To ensure minimum process rejection during shift by doing hourly checking
on machine.
• To ensure checksheets are filled in time by mould changers and quality
inspector.
• To ensure grinding consumption in shift by continuous follow up with
grinding person and material mixing person.
• To ensure filling of process sheet if process is upgraded.
• To do entry in maintenance work requisition book for any maintenance
related problem.
• To fill trial reports and to be communicated it with development dept.
• To ensure good housekeeping and gangway discipline through out shift.
• To be involved in problem solving activity like cft, capa, and customer
complaints attaining.
• To fill production report in time.
• New operator handling in positive way and training to be given to them for
machine operation, part handling, reworking and quality checking.
• To do or get kaizen, 2s shining, fpp improvement, wpp from operators and
setters.
• Implement all quality systems effectively.
• Bench marking manufacturing practices
