JOB PROFILE
Job Objective:- 1)    Procuring the material as per check list / Indent. Negotiate with vendors for Spec., delivery & payment term. 2)    Maintain the material tracking sheet, tracking material delivery & vendor payment with accounts. 3)    Job Analysis – Prepare costing comparison sheet for each and every item and also for over all projects. 4)    Vendor Development – New vendor development for price reduction and also for alternate material (New Product). 5)    Co Ordination:           a)     Supplier – Quotation & Material delivery.           b)    Planning Team – For Indent, Specification clarification.           c)     Commercial – Clearance for Material dispatch.           d)    Accounts – Vendor Payment & C Forms. Principal Accountabilities:- 1)    Purchase, Vendor identification and vendor development 2)    Procurement formalities from Purchase to Payment 3)    Liesening with cross functional team – like account/planning/ engg. 4)    Material follow-up, 5)    MIS reporting and maintaining various trackers 6)    Project status tracking Knowledge and skill set :- 1)    Knowledge of Purchase process and formalities 2)    Knowledge of current industrial norm and techniques 3)    Knowledge of Various taxation 4)    Knowledge of ERP. 5)    Good communication skills 6)    Good knowledge of computer and MS office
