JOB PROFILE
To co‐ordinate all activities required to direct and control manufacturing quality. Ø In particular to review product quality requirements for individual clients and projects, toensure those requirements are understood and implemented to manage the quality of manufactured items to meet the requirements of the contract specifications. Requirements: RESPONSIBLITIES:- Ø -QC Management - To continuously review quality control processes, procedures and-capabilities in order to sustain the most cost effective and efficient methods for meeting-quality requirements, and making recommendation for improvement as appropriate. Ø Review client QC requirements and ensure that quality control documentation for a projectmeets contractual requirements. Review and approve Contractor and sub‐contractor quality-control documentation to ensure their planned activities meet contractual requirements. Ø Resource Management- To co‐ordinate and control the day to day operations of inspectionpersonnel, so as to provide a safe, secure and efficient working environment, ensuring; • Allplant and equipment is safely operated- Ø All physical resources are maintained, stored and organised to allow efficient and effective operation. Ø To control and direct all QC resources, operations and facilities in order to adhere to project programmes. Ø To manage and direct a team of skilled, semi‐skilled and technically based individualsthrough sound personnel practices such as;• Performance management • Relevant and-effective inductions • Identification of trainingneeds • Coaching • Discipline

Ø Ensures goods manufactured by employer are produced in a cost-effective way that meets quality specifications. Makes sure that goods are ready to distribute to customers in a timely fashion. Improves a company's production and distribution processes. Ensures the production and distribution of products runs smoothly. Ø Coordinating production workflow for one or multiple products Ø Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay Ø Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand Ø - Predicts how long a project will take to complete Ø Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations Ø Schedule shift according to production needs Ø Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget Ø Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption Ø Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.) Ø Prepare and submit status and performance reports Ø Keep paperwork organized Ø Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff Requirements: Ø Proven experience as production planner Ø Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles Ø Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ø Excellent communication abilities
