A. Responsibilities:-
1. Packing-
• Supervises
& Co-ordinates activities of packing workers.
•
Engage all helpers in packing products and materials for storage and
shipment.
• Understand
production order and quantity of
product .
• Arrange
packing material like bubble wrap, thermacol, Etc.
• Check
quality of material before packing.
• Observe packing
operations.
• Provide
training to workers and observe their performance.
• Provide
weekly plan and supervise it.
• Prepare
packing list as per packets for customer.
• Pass
the order form for billing.
2. Dispatch
& Logistics-
• Arrange
Vehicle for material dispatch.
• Co-ordinate
with transporter for vehicle, customer address and transport queries.
• Load
vehicle with product safety stickers and Measures.
• Co-ordinate
with customer for order dispatch and other queries.
• Send
dispatch details to customer by mail and co-ordinate by phone to solve
problems.
• Arrange
all dispatch related documents like E-way bill, material gate pass.
• Resolve
problems concerning transportation,
Logistics systems or customer issues.
• File
all dispatched order form.
3. Requisite
Skills:-
• Candidate
should be graduate.
• Candidate
must be good in MS Excel.
• Good
coordination with customer.
• Soft
spoken
4. Desired
Skills:
• Good
Knowledge of Mailing.
• Good
Communication skill.

JOB PROFILE

1.
Prepare and process requisition for supplies and
equipment based on the Indent received from stores.
2.
Prepare Invoice and challan for management
approval Prepare reports regarding market conditions and merchandise costs.
3.
Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
4.
Coordinate with the Stores department and identify
best EOQ and the lead time.
5.
Monthly stock evaluation
6.
Coordinate with stores, inspection, assembly, CAM
department, machine shop and vendors with whom the material is under process.
7.
Follow up with accounts to release the supplier’s
payment.
8.
Represent & negotiate on behalf of the company
for supply contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.
9.
Meets with vendors to negotiate improved pricing,
product quality, and delivery.
10.
Resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and
claims against suppliers.
11.
Making sure that the vendors maintain time and
quality of the product.

Majorly Metals
