JOB PROFILE

|||
1)
Perform
engineering design tasks for roadway and site civil projects from conceptual
design to final design. This includes having a good working knowledge of the
entire project life cycle.
2)
Develop
specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages
3)
Have a strong
working knowledge of roadway design software tools
4)
Mentor and
develop junior staff while providing valuable input into design Best
Practices.
5)
Have a positive
team-oriented attitude
6)
Lead and
coordinate design activities between staff, subcontractors, and clients
7)
Identify
schedule and cost variances and develop recommendations for corrective action
8)
Participate in
project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost and scheduling
performance
9)
Coordinate the
planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management, quality control, safety
and organization of subcontractors and internal technical and support staff
10)
Maintain a
close relationship with clients and track upcoming project opportunities and
collaborate on project pursuits, if needed.
A.
Skills
1)
Bachelor of
Science in Civil Engineering required
2)
Engineer in
Training (EIT) certification required
3)
Strong
technical design background in highway design and transportation engineering
