JOB PROFILE 1)    Preparation of monthly financial reports a)     Reconcile bank statements. b)    Prepare and post monthly journals. c)     Preparation to trial balance stage of Statement of Income and Expenditure and Financial Position. d)    Assist in the preparation of Management Report as required. e)     Distribute relevant reports to staff and Governance. 2)    Accounts Payable a)     Administer the accounts payable function and maintain appropriate records. b)    Check to ensure online bank account numbers of suppliers are set up accurately and all payments are Properly authorized. 3)    Accounts Receivable a)     Assist with pursuing overdue debtors. 4)    Monthly GST Returns a)     Prepare monthly GST returns and submit to IRD. b)    Manage/monitor GST refunds/payments. 5)    Expense Claims a)     Process staff expense claims. b)    Ensure the claims are properly authorised. 6)    Cash Management a)     Maintain Bank Balance information. b)    Maintain Petty Cash records. c)     Maintain Cash Journal records. d)    Maintain Cash Book data entry. 7)    Donation Income a)     Assist with mail opening, donations and debtors subscription banking processes. 8)    Resources For life – e- Merchandise a)     Assist Office and Resource Administrator in his absence to handle order or Adventure lodge booking enquiries. b)    Process, package and dispatch order in his absence. 9)    Events Registration a)     Assist with processing registration for Scripture Union events (4-6 per year). 10)           Others a)     Handle incoming calls as required b)    Undertake other assigned tasks as required. 11)           In Common with all staff a)     Maintain a vital personal relationship with Christ, including regular bible reading and prayer. b)    Be part of the prayer and fellowship of Scripture Union including staff prayers, staff conferences, retreats and staff meetings. c)     Be an effective advocate for the whole of Scripture Union’s ministry and resources Undertake other assigned tasks as required.
